Court of Appeals Travel Docket

The Court of Appeals is a traveling court. Three-judge panels regularly leave the court’s official station in Topeka to visit other cities across Kansas to hear cases.

Eduction and outreach

During their travels, judges prioritize speaking to students of all ages about careers in law and the work judges do. They speak to students at the university and community college level, at law schools, high schools, middle schools, elementary schools, and career fairs.

Court of Appeals judges also connect with bar associations, communities, and the public by delivering continuing legal education and other presentations.

Dockets

Court of Appeals Dockets lists all dockets and where cases will be heard. Each month, Court of Appeals panels hear cases in Topeka, Olathe, and Wichita. Throughout the year, panels also hear cases in communities across the state. These are their travel dockets.
