In session 4, we will cover:

  • Current national and regional trends in assisted reproductive technologies from both medical and legal perspectives, and how courts around the country coping.

  • Practical issues, including how courts should approach requests for prebirth orders, how gestational surrogacy contracts are viewed in Kansas and in other states. Also, the kinds of cases courts might see. 

  • Tips for recognizing issues that might arise in a contested case and what laws apply.
